Zara Lenon - Issue 36

Zara Lenon is an artist, poet and writer who is based in London. Her work has appeared in magazines, publications and podcasts such as Anima Loci, Spotify’s Scary Shorties Podcast, Impspired Magazine and The Anansi Archive’s sixth anthology, The Nine Lives of Billy Nightjar. She has a sharp eye for detail and a weird way with words; the aim being to create vivid worlds for the reader to lose themselves in, and craft colourful, memorable characters to populate them.

I like observing

the skyline view.

You’ll ask me,

“Why do you?”

It’s fascinating to watch

the little beams, of

sunlight that radiate

onto the coloured reams,

all the while the night

Sky creeps in at

the seams.
